The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) is being held in Los Angeles Tuesday through Thursday. Ahead of the video game conference, Facebook examined how its users were talking about games (and interacting with game-related content) on its platforms.

Looking at data from May 30 through June 10, Facebook said 18 million people around the world posted, liked, commented on or shared gaming content over 65 million times on Facebook. During that same time, 1 million users shared gaming-related Stories posts on Instagram.

Of the people who were talking about games, Facebook said 41% were women and 34% were between 25 and 35 years old.

The top five countries with the most E3-related discussion from May 30 through June 10 were the U.S., Australia, the U.K., Indonesia and the Philippines.

Finally, Facebook ranked the top trending games, publishers and female characters “that saw a spike in conversation leading up to the conference.”
