C-SPAN Techy Gets Candid
C-SPAN field technician Steven Kehoe, featured in “First Person Singular” in WaPo Magazine this past weekend, exposes scenes that play out repeatedly on Capitol Hill. Turns out those C-SPAN techies are making jokes about comb-overs and people snoozing in those often boring hearings.
The piece exposes another aspect of Capitol Hill that only those who work in specialized jobs like his know about to the extent that he does. While Kehoe defends members who are gracious to him when the cameras aren’t necessarily rolling, he also sees the act they put on when they are.
