BuzzFeed Partners With Twitter for Election Night

Very cool.

BuzzFeed has joined forces with Twitter for live, election night coverage. The media outlet will stream an election night show on Twitter, starting at 6 p.m. ET on Nov. 8 (for Trump voters, Nov. 28).

Bruce Perlmutter will serve as executive producer of the program. He has previously worked for CNN, MSNBC, and E! Networks.

In a statement about the partnership, BuzzFeed editor in chief Ben Smith tossed in a jab at cable news.

“Our fast, smart, and honest political coverage has helped define this presidential campaign and we are thrilled to be finishing by going live both from our headquarters and from inside the platform that is the beating heart of American politics,” said Smith.
