British Police Using iPad Minis to Reduce Paperwork

ipad-mini-retinaScotland Yard is investing in iPad Minis for its entire fleet of 20,000 police offers. The £200 million project will begin this spring with 600 tablets for 1,000 officers. The project is expected to bring personal tablets to all 20,000 officers in the following years.

Having tablets will assist officers by providing easier paperwork handling, tracking criminal activities, check for warrants, or even ordering new uniforms. The tablets can also assist officers in recording digital evidence at a crime scene while offering advice to victims.
