Breaking news: "Rush Hour 3" is a go for September
EXCLUSIVE: FishbowlLA has learned that director Brett Ratner, Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker are all set to finally make “Rush Hour 3” at New Line Cinema.
The Ratner attachment had been made months ago, but late yesterday, our sources tell us, the studio made pay-or-play offers to all three principals, with the long-gestating project to go before cameras late this August or early September.
How’d we crack this one? Well, in the words of Det. James Carter, “Lee, let me introduce you to Carter’s new theory of criminal investigation: follow the rich white man.”
