Culinary book publisher Smith-Kerr Associates is launching a quarterly food and wine magazine called Northeast Flavor, reports Folio:.

The magazine will cover culinary and wine topics for readers in the Northeastern region of the U.S.

Publisher Spencer Smith told Folio he expected the magazine would become bimonthly before long: “Advertising in the food and wine sector has held up very well through the recession and reaction from our distribution and advertising base has been very positive. So we are encouraged by that.
