Bond: No girl to sleep with? No villain to thwart? ...no problem.

The BBC reports that filming on the new James Bond movie, “Casino Royale” has commenced in Prague, despite the lack of a Bond girl or a villain.

Fortunately, per the THR, the shooting of scenes that star Bond’s love interest aren’t scheduled to begin for another 30 days or so.

We imagine that Sony’s marketing chief Jeff Blake must be so de-lighted at the lack of casting progress. I mean, crucial elements of creative marketing campaign aren’t something you want to have in place a few months before a film is released; no, that’s something you want to at the last possible second, under intense time constraints with no room for error.

Bravo, Broccolis!
