BMI/BillBoard/Gibson Christmas Party
FBLA went to the BMI/Billboard/Gibson Christmas party and had a pretty great time. Melinda Newman is somewhere in the crowd pictured above, as are Nico Vega, Latin Grammy winning songwriter Edgar Cortazar, Virgin’s Ken Blaustein; manager Andy Gould; and former Sony A&R honcho turned manager Roger Klein.
People were talking about the layoffs at Verve and about Lou Reed’s Berlin.
We also heard about Axl Rose’s split with manager Merck Mercuriadis, and that the long-awaited album, Chinese Democracy, isn’t likely to hit the new release date of March 6th.
