Bloomberg News Shifts Management
Bloomberg News is set to make some major changes involving management. The Wall Street Journal reports that the moves are designed to streamline the company’s editorial structure. The moves expected to be announced:
- Laurie Hays, currently executive editor, will take on a larger role — including economics and Washington — and thus assume oversight over a larger group of reporters and editors. Hays will continue to report to Matt Winkler, Bloomberg News’ editor.
- Daniel Hertzberg, executive editor of finance, is retiring.
