Bloomberg Media Names Head of Digital Innovation

Michael Shane is promoted.

Bloomberg Media has named Michael Shane global head of digital innovation, a new role at the company.

Shane most recently managing editor for Bloomberg Digital. Prior to joining Bloomberg in 2014, Shane served as director of operations for The Verge.

“Michael will continue to partner with and work across many diverse teams, including editorial, product, engineering and sales, where he will play an important role in driving a more aggressive slate of global innovation,” wrote Bloomberg Media’s global head of digital Scott Havens, in a memo to staffers.
