Blackmailing After Car Design Theft from The London College of Fashion

Finally, to close out this writer’s day on a fun point, here comes a story to be filed along with all other bizarre stories. The Daily Mirror in the UK is reporting that a former design student has been arrested after trying to blackmail the London College of Fashion out of revenge for their stealing all of his designs for cars over the years, many of which have been produced by a number of major auto companies. So, in other words, he sounds a bit crazy. Here’s some:

He claims sketches of Audi, BMW, Mazda and Volvo models were among many stolen from him by two lecturers at the London College of Fashion.

“The first time I saw one of my designs coming round the corner, it was the Audi TT,” the 46-year-old told Southwark crown court in London.

After he failed to sue the college, three of America’s top designers received “menacing” letters demanding nearly $90,000, jurors were told Lloyd-Parker, of Blackheath, London, pleads not guilty.
