It looks like people waiting for a BlackBerry tablet from RIM will have to wait a bit longer. What RIM introduced today is the:

The Torch’s sole U.S. carrier is AT&T Wireless. The Torch is a touch screen device with both an optical trackpad and a physical keyboard that pulls down (when needed) vertically in portrait mode. It provides the now expected pinch-to-zoom gesture when using a web browser and other apps.
