BlackBerry PlayBook Will Arrive By The End Of Q1

With the iPad 2 set to debut next week, Blackberry maker RIM is rushing to get their PlayBook tablet to market by the end of the first quarter. This is ahead of the rumored April 10th launch date.

The new tablet, which was announced back in September, has a 7-inch screen and runs on the QNX operating system, which allows for Flash.

Stephen Bates, the UK managing director at RIM, confirmed the news in an interview with Pocket-Lint.com.
