Biz Journo Awards: No Portfolio This Year

The finalists for UCLA’s 50th Loeb Awards were announced earlier this week — the prestigious annual list that gets business journalists from Fast Company to Fortune all hot and bothered. Some things to note about this year’s finalists:

The Wall Street Journal leads with nine nominations (the Times has five); Fast Company leads all business magazines with three; and Chris Anderson‘s Long Tail will get another shot against James Kynge‘s China Shakes the World for best business book.
