BET To Launch In U.K.

The newest American cable network to make the jump to overseas broadcasting is BET. The Guardian is reporting that Viacom is launching a U.K. version of the network for late 2007. Although the specifics are behind a registration wall, it looks like BET U.K. will have original content as well as imported shows like College Hill, 106 & Park and Lil’ Kim — Countdown to Lockdown. BET’s launch is their second try for the U.K.
