“BBC World News America” is launching a series of web reports presenting an “immigrants view of immigration” in the U.S.
The two-week series, dubbed “Into America” kicked off today, and features digital reporter Franz Strasser traveling the country and exploring local communities and the people that live there.
The BBC will also communicate with its users through regular updates on Facebook, Twitter and Flickr.
The first installment of “Into America” takes place in the New York metropolitan arena, and has Strasser talking to people in the New York City borough of Queens.
Future stops include Chicago, San Francisco, Wichita, Louisville and trips to a number of small towns across the country, including Mayo, Florida, where Strasser was a foreign exchange student in high school.
