Bay Area News Group Employees Getting Less Vacation

Employees at the San Jose Mercury News, the Contra Costa Times, and twelve other newspapers are learning that they aren’t going to be earning vacation days December 6 through March 2011.
If you normally got two weeks of vacation, instead you’ll get 6.9 days for the year, for example. (Here’s hoping that a kind boss will allow workers to round up. How do you take .9
