Barnes & Noble Releases Nook Video Apps
Barnes & Noble subsidiary Nook Media has introduced a new line of Nook video apps for iOS, Android and Roku devices. The app allows users to purchase and stream video through their devices from the Nook content library. They can stream across devices, much like the other video apps already in the marketplace.
“With the new NOOK Video Apps, customers can now easily access the thousands of movies and TV shows available from major studios and content partners on their TV and mobile devices,” stated Jonathan Shar, Vice President & General Manager, Emerging Digital Content, at NOOK Media LLC.
