Barnes & Noble In Manhattan Pushes eReaders

Barnes & Noble is transforming some of its prime floor space into a Nook boutique. We visited the Union Square store in Manhattan this week and the whole right hand side of the first floor has been taken over by the eReaders.

What used to be tables of new books are now tables of Nooks that shoppers can test out. There are about six Nook tables and each have four Nook eReaders on them for testing.
