Basketball’s Ball family is the subject of a new documentary series exclusively available via Facebook’s Watch platform.
Bunim/Murray Productions announced that the first two episodes of Ball in the Family will debut on Facebook’s Watch Thursday (Aug. 31), with new episodes to follow Sundays beginning Sept. 10.
Ball in the Family follows father, coach and Big Baller Brand entrepreneur LaVar Ball; mother Tina Ball; Los Angeles Lakers guard Lonzo Ball, the No. 2 pick in the 2017 National Basketball Association Draft; and younger brother LaMelo Ball, who has committed to play for the University of California Los Angeles, following in his older brother’s footsteps.
Topics to be covered include LaVar’s leadership of the BBB brand, the basketball development of Lonzo and LaMelo and Tina’s recover from a stroke she suffered earlier this year.
