Babeland Gives Away 4,000 Sex Toys To Voters

Besides PRNewser, upscale sex toy chain store Babeland received love from over 200 media outlets for their “Free Maverick” giveaway on Election Day, including AdAge, Comedy Central’s Indecision 2008, Wonkette, and on sites in their store markets including the Seattle Times, and Racked & Curbed.

Babeland’s PR person Pamela Doan also told PRNewser their phones rang off the hook with media queries and web traffic popped 54%. They planned to give out 50-100 toys per store (about 1,000) and ended up giving away 4,114.
