Aviation Week Editor Goes Missing In L.A. Canyons

Los Angeles police are asking for help in the apparent disappearance of Michael Arthur Dornheim, the award-winning West Coast editor of New York-based Aviation Week & Space Technology.

Dornheim, 51, was last seen at the Saddle Peak Lodge restaurant in Coldwater Canyon around 10:30 p.m. June 3 after dining with friends, according to police.

We’re told by sources at the magazine Dornheim was a motorcycle enthusiast and lived alone.

According to the San Jose Mercury News, Dornheim “was driving a 1997 green Honda Civic with license plate numbers 3VAF469.
