Austin Powers Actor Allegedly Killed His Cellmate
It sounds like former Austin Powers actor Joseph Hyungmin Son is having a rough time making friends in jail.
The 40-year-old allegedly killed his cellmate, a convicted sex offender, the Los Angeles Times reports. The 50-year-old was found dead Monday at Wasco State Prison Reception Center in Kern County.
Son was named a suspect by prison authorities. Charges against the former mixed martial arts fighter are pending the completion of their investigation. He was sentenced to life in prison without parole last month for his role in the 1990 rape and torture of an Orange County woman.
