AT&T WorkBench for iPhone Provides a Secure Link to AT&T Mobile Enterprise Applications Platform Products
The AT&T Mobile Enterprise Applications Platform (MEAP) is a suite of mobile products for enterprises. These products cover the areas of sales, IT support, and field service. The MEAP supported platforms are BlackBerry, iPhone, Palm OS (really?), and Windows Mobile.
AT&T released a new free iPhone app as part of this product collection.
The press release I saw (on posterous of all places) contains a lot of words without actually describing what this app does:
