Associated Press and Google Launch Joint New Media Scholarship

The Associated Press and Google have teamed up to sponsor $20,000 scholarships to six graduate or undergraduate students straddling the fields of journalism, new media and computer science. The AP-Google Journalism and Technology Scholarship, as the program is called, will be for the 2012-13 academic year, and will be administered by The Online News Association.

Any journos out there looking to learn some new media skills in grad school–who don’t want to leave with piles of debt–this might be the program for you.
