ASNE & APME Cry Foul at NFL's Demands of Branding Photojournalists

As you might have heard stirrings about, the National Football League recently created a new rule requiring that all photojournalists working at any NFL game, must now wear a bright red vest, branded with both Canon and Reebok‘s logos. As you can probably imagine, photographers who work in the field are pretty upset. Now both the American Society of Newspaper Editors and the Associated Press Managing Editors groups have written letters to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, demanding that he remove the requirement.
