As expected, NBC’s “Book of Daniel” won’t air in that hotbed of Christian fundamentalism, Terre Haute, IN. The station’s manager insists it has nothing to do with the American Family Association’s ban on the show.

As you probably already surmised, “Terre Haute” is from an Old French expression that means “terrify and hate the Jews of Hollywood”
– but don’t hold us to that.

In “Daniel’s” place, we’ve also heard that the NBC affiliate, WTWO plans to run a locally-produced cooking show, “Kookin’
