  • The American Institute of Architects has offered assistance to Japan’s architects as well as to U.S. agencies coordinating disaster relief efforts. “We are in contact with our colleagues at AIA Japan and the Japan Institute of Architects to offer not only our condolences but our profession’s technical and professional expertise when the initiative begins focusing on rebuilding,” said Clark Manus, 2011 President of the AIA, in a statement issued today.
