Arnold mocked by media; no catch-phrase from any of his movies applies
I’m glad I haven’t seen a lame headline yet today about California voters ‘terminating’ Schwarzenegger’s ballot initiatives or anything like that. Because really, people, enough with the catch-phrases. But the press coverage of the special election does illustrate an important axiom about media coverage of politics, which is that if you’re a political figure whose appeal depends on persona, you set yourself up for a lot of media mockery when your political agenda suffers a setback.
