Architecture Days Get Warmer
Devastated by the end of National Design Week? Architecture Days are still in session. After a successful run in New York, the Architectural Digest-sponsored show swings through Los Angeles next week, with more outings planned in Miami in November. The LA leg features set designers from “24” and “Nip/Tuck,” a Venice canal stroll, bungalow tours in Pasadena and West Adams, Kengo Kuma at LACMA and a Richard Meier exhibition at A+D.
We’re particularly intrigued by this mysterious shuttle tour named simply:
A Hollywood Home
Tuesday, October 24; 5-7pm
Join the architects of a distinctive residence located beneath the Hollywood sign to see such design elements as glass floors, a glass-bottomed pond skylight, a glass entry bridge and exterior living spaces and fireplaces.
