'Architectural Digest' Shows Executive Editor the Door

Last Thursday Architectural Digest showed Sarah Medford the door. The executive editor had held her position for almost two years.

According to WWD, they confirmed she was not with the magazine any longer and would also not “comment on personnel matters.”

Coincidentally, this occurred the very same day Conde Nast required its titles to trim their budgets by 10 percent. According to the piece, the exit was not related to the budgets.

Architectural Digest replaced Medford with Stephen Wallis, the former features editor.
