Arch. Digest’s Paige Rense Crosses Nation, Looking for ‘Regular People’ Designers

Architectural Digest is in the middle of a Print 2.0 or something kind of campaign, with its editor in chief, Paige Rense opening the doors of the magazine and auditioning random designers, both professional and self-made designers, showing off their craft in hopes of showing themselves off in front of its readership. According to this story in the LA Times, Rense has been at it since October, criss-crossing the country and stopping to have open-calls. What will eventually come of it, we’ve no idea, but we smell a feature in an upcoming issue (we kinda figure she’s not just doing this for her health, you see?).
