Apple redesigns iTunes for iOS, Facebook, Twitter integration come to App Store

As was widely anticipated, Apple has revamped the iOS version of iTunes and the iTunes App Store.

Apple’s senior vice president of internet software and services Eddy Cue took the stage at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts during Apple’s Sept. 12 press event to detail the changes, which include a revamped UI and deep social media integration.

The new iOS version of iTunes features the same look across books, music and video. The iTunes App Store now integrates Facebook Likes into every entry, and users will be able to share from the App Store onto Facebook and Twitter — an improvement clearly aimed at improving App Store discoverability through social media.
