Apple Launches 16GB iPhone

Apple quietly launched a 16GB version of the Jesus Phone this morning. The new model is otherwise identical to the current 8GB iPhone and will cost $499, or $100 more than the 8GB model.

In addition, the Cupertino-based company announced a 32GB version of the iPod Touch for the same $499. We’re not sure about the 32GB Touch, but the 16GB iPhone was widely expected after Apple introduced the 16GB Touch several months ago.

Now we expect the speculation to begin anew: 32GB iPhone, anyone?
