Apple Beware: Pandigital Releases eReader Tablet For $200
Pandigital has released the Novel, an Android-based eReader with a 7-inch color LCD touch screen that uses the Barnes & Noble eBookstore. It retails for $200, which is a lot cheaper than the $499 iPad.
Like the iPad, the Novel is a multimedia device and users can read books, watch movies, view photos, listen to music and access the web. It weighs in at 11.8 oz and includes 2G of integrated memory and the built-in SD/SDHC card reader accepts up to 32GB memory cards.
