App Offers Times Square NYE Countdown Minus Ads
Organizers updated the Times Square Ball app for 2014 — and iOS 7 — but you can still watch the live, nearly seven-hour New Year’s Eve countdown from New York City for free and without the commercials.
The redesigned app also includes a new Twitter integration that shows related New Year’s Eve tweets. It’s a pretty simple little app, but if you’re looking for a way to watch the Times Square action on your mobile, you can find it here.
