AP Does Not Appreciate Woot's Sense Of Humor, Says TechCrunch, Quotingly

The exuberantly-named daily deal site Woot recently attempted to make a little joke at the AP’s expense. TechCrunch then wrote about it, mentioning that Woot, in a nod to AP’s own policy regarding the use of quotations, claimed the AP owed them $17.50 for quoting their CEO, Matt Rutledge, in a post. But, being a nice sort of Woot, they would take the AP buying a snazzy pair of headphones in lieu of cash:
