AOL Promotes Allie Kline to CMO

AOL logo GAOL has promoted Allie Kline to chief marketing officer. Kline was most recently CMO of AOL Platforms. She will continue to oversee that division in her new role.

Kline joined AOL last year from 33Across, where she also served as CMO.

“Allie Kline has been a driving force in the growth of AOL’s media, advertising and publisher solutions platforms,” said Tim Armstrong, AOL’s CEO, in a statement. “Allie is an award-winning marketing strategist helping to fundamentally reshape the future of the company.”

In related news, Erika Nardini, CMO of AOL Advertising, is leaving the company “to pursue other opportunities at the end of the year,” according to the release.
