A Patch editor emailed Media Nation to explain the work environment for local editors. This email details 70-hour workweeks, and a constant battle for vacation.
“Basically, the job is 24/7 with so far little support in getting any kind of time off — nights, weekends, vacation days guaranteed under our AOL contract,” wrote the local editor.
She continues:
“What is becoming distressing is this sense that I can’t get a break.
