Earlier today the Twitter profile of the company’s chief financial officer, Anthony Noto, was hacked.

Earlier today the Twitter profile of the company’s chief financial officer, Anthony Noto, was hacked.

The account began tweeting spammy links at a number of seemingly random users, directing them to the flashscore.ro website.

Business Insider screen capped a range of the tweets, which you can see below.

Twitter Finance Chief’s Twitter Account Gets Hacked

This isn’t the first embarrassing Twitter incident for Noto, who joined the firm last year. Back in November, the CFO accidentally openly-tweeted what was assumed to be a private direct message revealing Twitter’s plans to buy a third party.

Twitter has now resumed control of Noto’s account and deleted the offending tweets.
