Anne Thompson: Online is the Way to Go
As previously reported , Anne Thompson starts her new job as deputy editor of Variety.com tomorrow.
After two years at The Hollywood Reporter, Thompson is ready to take it all online. Thompson tells FishbowlLA that she is looking forward to doing “more independent reporting, more original content. I’ve learned a lot about what works, and I think breaking news online is where it’s at.”
Over on his site, former Variety staffer Tom Tapp couldn’t agree more.
