Android OS 2.2 Update Coming to the Motorola Droid This Week?
Despite infrequent (once per week) mysterious crashes and system lock-ups, I’ve been quite pleased with the way Android OS 2.2 (Froyo) works on my Nexus One and the features it provides. Installing apps on flash storage cards, Bluetooth voice dialing, Exchange Server calendar support, and WiFi hotspot tethering are among my favorites. Now, I’m looking forward to my Motorola Droid getting the Froyo update too.

That said, I’m giving serious thought to dropping my Verizon Wireless service for the Droid.
