The Android market has grown from under 10,000 apps to 90,000 apps in the last year. The above graph comes from AndroLib.com, a web page dedicated to the Android marketplace. It highlights the growth. While 90,000 apps is still a much smaller share of the market place, than Appleâ€™s 225,000 apps, the growth in such a short amount of time is remarkable.
EReader apps are growing in popularity on the Android. In June, Borders launched Android-enabled eReader app and Amazon brought the Kindle to the Android. Maybe Barnes and Noble and Stanza will be next?
