A little while back, we noticed a minor discrepancy between accounts in the LAT and the Houston Chronicle of what cologne a particularly fragrant Enron defense lawyer was wearing. Which paper had the facts right? Turns out neither. From yesterday’s Houston Chronicle trial blog:

Skilling defense lawyer Daniel Petrocelli said today that he was mistaken about what cologne he was wearing when a juror asked that he wash it off last week.

It was, in fact, he says Tabacco by i Profumi di Firenze.
