AmpliTube iRig Brings iPad/iPhone: More Real World Music Interface

I really like what I’ve seen (but not tried) so far in the area of interfaceing real physical instruments (especially guitars) with the iPhone and iPad. The latest product that’s caught my attention is IK Multimedia’s AmpliTube iRig.
The $39.99 AmpliTube iRig lets you plug your electric guitar into an iPad or iPhone. Three apps are available for the iPhone while the iPad has two app versions:
