AmpliTube 2: A Guitar Recording Studio in Your iPhone

IK Multimedia’s AmpliTube iRig is a $40 piece of hardware that lets you partner a real-world electric guitar with an iPhone or iPad. IK Multimedia provides a tiered set of apps for the iPhone and iPad to work with iRig. They provide a free version, a $2.99 LE edition that provides additional effects as in-app purchases in the $2.99 to $4.99 (per effect) price range, and a premium version for $19.99 that has a $9.99 optional 4-track recorders as an in-app purchase.
