Americans spend 9 minutes on average using social networks, 12 minutes texting, 8 minutes browsing the Web, 5 minutes emailing, just under 5 minutes playing games and a little over a minute using the phone or GPS features.
iPhone users spend significantly more time on their phones than Android users.
