Ameet Ranadive Will Lead Instagram’s Wellbeing Team
He had been vp of revenue product at Twitter
Former Twitter vice president of revenue product Ameet Ranadive joined Instagram as director of product for its Wellbeing team.
Ranadive will report to another Twitter alumnus, head of product Kevin Weil, who left his post as senior vp of product at Twitter in January 2016.
An Instagram spokesperson told Social Pro Daily Ranadive will focus on preventing spam, abuse and harassment on the Facebook-owned photo- and video-sharing network, as well as eliminating the audience of accounts that are hacked.
