Amazon Publishing Launches Sci-Fi, Horror Imprint
Just in time for Halloween, Amazon has launched a new imprint focused on science fiction, fantasy and horror called 47North. The Seattle-based imprint will publish original works, as well as previously published titles and out-of-print books.
47North joins a handful of Amazon imprints including: AmazonEncore, AmazonCrossing, Powered by Amazon, Montlake Romance, Thomas & Mercer and the Amazon Publishing family.
It launches with 15 books, including The Mongoliad: Book One, the first in the five-book collection of stories from various authors including Neal Stephenson and Greg Bear.
