Amazon Patents Way To Stop Bad Gifts Before They Arrive
For those of you who are stuck facing bad weather to return unwanted Christmas gifts, Amazon has a new patent in the works that could make your life easier. The patent would allow Amazon customers to stop gifts they don’t want before they are sent.
The Washington Post reports: “The online retailer has quietly patented a way for people to return gifts before they receive them, and the patent documents even mention poor Aunt Mildred. Amazon’s innovation, not ready for this Christmas season, includes an option to ‘Convert all gifts from Aunt Mildred,’ the patent says.
